Kristin Calabro works part time as the Pharmacy Operations & Science Liaison for Boesen & Snow Law where she leverages more than a decade of experience in pharmacy operations, telehealth, compliance, and clinical program development to assist clients in a variety of healthcare matters.
Kristin’s career began at Avella Specialty Pharmacy under the mentorship of Mark Boesen, where she developed expertise in compounding, specialty pharmacy, and regulatory compliance. She later joined the University of Arizona Medication Management Center (MMC), advancing to Director of Pharmacy Operations. In this role, she designed specialty programs, led quality improvement initiatives, and contributed to optimizing Medicare STAR ratings and HEDIS measures.
Dr. Calabro played a key leadership role in establishing and managing a Phoenix-based telehealth center, where she developed extensive expertise in pharmacy licensing, compliance, and staff training. For over eight years, she oversaw a team of 90 pharmacy professionals, driving innovation and excellence in patient care delivery.
Kristin also brings public health leadership experience from her role as Director of Strategic Projects at the Arizona Pharmacy Association (AzPA), where she launched a naloxone distribution program to expand access to life-saving medications through community pharmacies. Her ability to navigate healthcare regulations, manage cross-functional teams, and implement impactful programs makes her an asset to the Boesen & Snow team.
Kristin’s area of expertise is within pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, HIPAA, licensing, CMS, HEDIS, quality improvement measures, and public health.
Outside of work, Kristin enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her fiancé and family. She is also a proud parent of a son studying engineering at Grand Canyon University.
